Goodbye and Hello!

I meant to post earlier today but the time just passed by so quickly and before I knew it, I've left America and I'm now in London! I'm still wrapping my mind around it.

I slept on and off on the plane and ended up missing the main meal. Luckily, I caught breakfast which was a croissant and tea. I'll edit this post later to include the photo I took of it. But I thought it was funny because I felt that it was so British. Or not. But the tea definitely made me feel better since I was developing a headache.

For some reason, the 6-hour flight felt longer than the 16-hour flight I took to Japan. But I made it to London and now I'm waiting for them to announce my gate (which is weird but they only announce your gates 75 minutes before boarding) and once they announce it, I gotta figure out which way to go! There's transit connections in order to get to certain gates so I'm just askf;dkhfl. It's certainly an adventure trying to figure out where to go without panicking. Heathrow is just one big puzzle and a lot of walking!

So I'm waiting in Gate A lounge (fingers crossed Rome leaves from Gate A so I don't have to get on the transit!) and listening to all the sounds around me. Behind me there's a shoe-shining station and I've seen 6 middle-aged men in suits get their shoes done. I haven't found anyone from the same program as me, but I guess it's up to me to figure it out on my own. I kinda figured that'd happen anyway.

It's 6 AM here at London (landed around 4:45???? I can't even keep track of time anymore) and I had to google that time because my phone and laptop is still coded to Boston time and I can't fix it now and will do it when I get settled. So it's 1 AM at home. By the way, When I googled the time, it automatically went to google.co.uk. I momentarily forgot where I was - OH.

Alright, I might be running out of time for free wifi, so I should post this while I can. :)

Next stop - Rome! ☆

Packing Day #2

8 days left.

I'm almost done packing! °˖ ✧◝(○ ヮ ○)◜✧˖ ° Suitcase #1 is completely packed and #2 is still open so I can throw in last minute stuff. Also, my carry-on has been tested and my laptop luckily fits. Any bigger, I wouldn't have a laptop to take to Europe!

I got this feeling like I'm not 100% sure that I packed enough... or maybe I just packed correctly. I guess I'll find out soon enough!

Packing Day #1

9 days left.

At this point, I'm throwing anything I think I should pack into a pile. These are the everyday clothes and I'm still not done. I'm done for the bottoms, I just need more tops so I can layer clothes for more variety! But then I need pajamas, undergarments, socks... aks;dlslklhl. I'm probably gonna be using some of those bag things that you can roll out air and flatten like 5 pieces of clothes to make more space in your suitcase.

And is six pairs of shoes too much?! Oh wait, I need flip-flips in case I go to a beach on the Mediterranean. :)

Update:

I made a list to organize all my things. And I'm pretty much done packing suitcase #1!
I've been up since 2 AM doing all this, ahhhh.
